BodyCombat 41

The theme for BodyCombat 41 is 'Backyard Brawl'. Numa Numa (also in BodyAttack 66), in a O-Zone (Dragostea Din Tei) remix, will prepare you for the workout ahead starting the upper body warm up with a jab, cross and bob combo. Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck Without You take cares of the lower body with a back kick in the warm up.

The first combat starts with a treble elbow and double knee combo, just think on We Will Survive from BC 37 this time on Music Is Pumpin by Radical Rhythm.
Track 3 is all about the contrast between speed and power, Slow & Steady Rush by Random Attack, a remix of Faith Hill’s Breathe

As a usual format since BodyCombat 37, track 4 has an intermezzo. It starts with Enter Sandman by Spock, and features a new move a double handed plyo push followed by a push kick. In the intermezzo (P.O.D’s Boom ) the track continues with a ginga – knee combination, to build up via a ginga - side kick combo to the ginga – evasive side kick. This gives you the feeling of two totally different workouts. It’s an opportunity to show what you’ve got, ready or not! As for the evasive side kick it always gives mixed feelings, it is an impressive kick to see, but difficult to perform. For this reason Dan decided to modified the e-kick as he feels that not everyone could jump that high while doing the kick. So it's just a little hop instead of a super high jump that was used to do previously.

Flush your legs and spike your heart rate in track 5 with three rounds of boxing, running is the keyword, as you will do a lot of running forward and back. Ballroom Blitz is featuring again in this release, as it is recycled form BodyCombat 6. The chorey is not a brain training, quite similar to Tutti Fruitti of BC 40.

Tae Kwon Do is in the house in track 6. For the ladies imagine you just went summer sale shopping and your both hands are full with bags. Four opponents appear . . . you don’t put this expansive bags just on the floor do you ? No, you fight them with your legs ! With the secret being to strike like a cobra. Similar to Shut Up and Drive from BC 34 but this time a side kick, knee, back kick and another knee (instead of the step in BC 34). I’m pretty sure you will entertain them on Robbie Williams’ Let Me Entertain You.

Track 8, the wall of fatigue which you can’t go over, you can’t go under it, … you just have to punch through it ! Cascada is back again, to take down the house during this last power track, with What Do You Want From Me … answer: to give everything, the sky is not the limit go beyond it !

For those who are doing BodyPump 71 and BodyAttack 66 the next song will be very familiar for the next few months. Here in BodyCombat, Flo Rida feat. Kesha will spin you Right Round while your abs are blasted with a lot of circle sit-ups.
The well deserved cooling down by Beyonce's Halo has a new stretch called the downward dog which focuses more on the hamstrings and the back of the legs.
